Hello, I am looking for a test kit to test the concentration of Cu, Fe and Cr3 ions in a solution of Chromic Acid (Cr6). This is hardchrome plating solution with a pH0.9. The concentrations of these contaminants can range up to 25g/L and we need to keep them down to approx 5g/L. can you recommend a test kit for this application? Thanks Peter

Peter, At those concentrations Copper, Iron, and Chromium are all interfering ions with each other. I don't think wet chemistry is the answer for this problem. Thus, I don't believe you will find a test kit that can do what you want. I would suggest finding a laboratory near you where they can do serial dilutions on the sample and test for the three metals using Atomic Absorption Spectroscopy.
